review 1: This was such a sweet enjoyable book. I loved how strong and independent Brook was throughout the book. It also broke my heart a bit at how cruel her mother was to her, her whole life. Brook had such bad self esteem and low opinion of herself, when in actuality she just didn't know how truly awesome she actually was. All she needed was some good friends and a really gorgeous and caring neighbor. Travis moved in and was building a house on land that Brook sold him. She had a motorcycle accident out front of there houses that was partly Travis's fault. This horrible accident lead to changing both their lives for the better. I'm glad I found this book, it was quite enjoyable.
review 2: Chivalry is not dead...at least, not in this story!Travis Cooper is not only a
... more hunk, but he shows a sense of responsibility rarely seen, today. All of the characters in this story were well developed. I loved Travis, Brooke, everyone...except Lorna. What a piece of work! Loved the book. I have to admit, the name Allison Cooper had me laughing. I will state one word of caution for any of you who like me, are colossal wimps when it comes to medical issues. Read the ER scene QUICKLY. I'm such a wimp, I almost fainted...TWICE. Yes, I'm pretty pathetic. I highly recommend this book. Keep writing them, Lisa! less
