review 1: A different kind of story. I thought it would be about the murder that might have happened quite awhile ago which has some bearing. Also girls are missing and who has abducted them. Also you have Sarah who left town since the guy she was crazy about was dating someone else. Now she is back and he has divorced and she has brought her daughters with her. Quite a bit of family history small town talkers and lots happening.
review 2: Stupid stupid ending. Not only did the author resolve everything in 2 pages, but the bad guy was such a minor character that when it was announced who it was I went,"who?" And then had to page back through the book to find them. You learn virtually nothing about the back stories of any characters. I'm giving it 2 stars only becaus... moree it had such potential and was pretty good until about the last 1/3 of the book. Don't waste time on this one. less
