review 1: I really liked this book, that is after I finished reading it. It drove me crazy while I was actually reading it because it was frustrating that the male lead was so stubborn. There is a lot of sex in this book, which I usually do not enjoy in books, but it didn't delve into too many nitty gritty details so it wasn't too uncomfortable. This may be another factor of why I didn't necessarily enjoy it while in the process of reading it, but when I step back and look at it from a distance the message is what is important.
review 2: DEATHWATCH by Lisa Mannetti is a fantastic book with a real kick of an ending. I loved every bit of it, but personally, I tend to enjoy Gothic stories the most, and this is definitely one of the best I have ever read. Her descriptions of... more the time period and the characters made me feel like I was there, and personally knew each one of them. I highly recommend reading this, and especially if you like gothic horror. less
