review 1: It could have been good but I'm sad to say that it wasn't. I wanted to believe the characters but I couldn't. The best one in my opinion was Riley, him a could some how accept as he was but he was crazy and therefore allowed to be just that. It seemed strange to me that out of all things that had happened to Lucas his hang-up was about the scars. One would think that he would be afraid of walking outside alone or scared about intimacy but no, he was afraid of taking of his shirt infront of someone he said he trusted and believed in.
review 2: I loved Lucas and Nicholas. But Riley is an absolute monster, a nightmare come true, one that just won't die!! I felt horrible for the emotional and physical pain that Lucas suffered...just for being a nice guy. Scary real
... morely! And poor Nicholas, bent over backwards to let Luc how much he loved him, no matter the scars, inside and out.Takes quite a bit a time, but finally they get together, but then the monster comes back...doesn't that just figure??? Needless to say, at the end the monster was slain, the nightmare ended, and Lucas and Nicholas began their HEA. less
