review 1: In this second installment, there are definitely more unexpected and heart-wrenching twists and turns in the story.(spoiler alert): It is revealed at the end that Kate(the protagonist) does not have the upperhand and that she is still at the mercy of the Sisterhood, even though it may seem like she has everything under control previously. This just adds to the realism of the plot and there is a distinct line not to be crossed between the elites and the normals at Pemberly Brown. Highly recommended.

... moreangers of the societies once again, and it doesn't look like she's done just yet. The book left me with a lot of questions, just as the first one did. So I'm going to have to pick up the third book when it's released to have them answered. I was shocked to learn that I placed my trust with the wrong people and my suspicions were dead wrong. I love this book for keeping me on my toes, even with the slow beginning. less

I just can't get over how inauthentic Kate's voice reads to me. She just doesn't feel 15.
