review 1: 4 stars to the first story: the Hot Girl's Best Friend (one star off just for the title). It's funny and well-plotted; the MC doesn't annoy you and make you want to tear your eyes out.2 stars to the rest and one star to the last story (because it was tremendously boring and has an extremely flimsy premise). The stories are all interconnected - Tony from the Hot Girl's Best Friend is the hero of the second and Carly from the third meets "Clark" at the same children's benefit that Tony and Kristen are at and...you get the picture. Special mention to the third story: "Not You" because the hero is a jerk from the "Wrong Place, Right Guy" story. And he gets a turn-around which is pretty cool.
review 2: Super cute collection short stories. What was neat is that ther... moree's a connecting thread. While you don't have to read these in order, it's fun to meet characters or read about places that have been in the other stories but aren't integral to them.All five are equally good, if not different.1) Smartass woman challenges smartass bartender that a man wouldn't give her the time of day... and he sets out to prove her wrong and falls in love with her.2) Realtor who is almost mugged and raped is rescued by an ex-con (drug addict and dealer) with a heart of gold... who we meet briefly in story 1.3) A one night stands turns into a nightmare when her mother remarries and her new stepbrother is a surprise.4) Single woman chooses to feng shui her apartment and meets man of her dreams5) And we're back to the bar that started it all... woman meets hot guy and they agree to a sexual relationship but with a 3 month deadline.If this author's other books in the Flirts! series are as cute as these, I'll be reading those! less
