review 1: Best Friends, Occasional Enemies is another witty compilation of vignettes from Lisa Scottoline and her daughter Francesca. Originally written for their Chick Wit column in the Philadelphia Inquirer, each vignette is succinct and amusing. Many times I found myself laughing out loud at these all too relatable tales. Having read the two previous books in this collection, I did find some of these stories a little redundant, but nowhere near enough to deter me from enjoying the book.
review 2: This was a fun, enjoyable read. I loved that it was made up of essays, so it was easy to pick up and read whenever I had a few minutes instead of waiting until I had more time to devote to reading. I really enjoyed the honesty and realism that the authors wrote about. I
... more liked it so much that halfway through I decided to purchase the book and give it to my mom for Mother's Day. I hope she enjoys it as much as I did. less
