review 1: I had read this author's other short story collection (Why My Third Husband Will Be a Dog) and enjoyed it. This book was given to me by Brendan as one of my Christmas books. I think he just liked the title that truly depicts me and what has happened in our house! (I took over all the kids' closets!) Lisa Scottoline and her daughter put together a fun collection of essays/stories about life, women, family, and the funny things that we do or happen to us. They write about their mom/grand mom whom they call Mother Mary (87 years old) a lot too. A nice read for a holiday weekend sipping wine or hot cocoa. May just be inspired to write a few stories of my own soon!
review 2: I enjoyed this light but humorous collections of articles. I read them in basically two day
... mores, but they would have been just as enjoyable reading one a day or all in a day. Obviously some articles struck me funnier than others. I'm pretty sure that my favorites will not be the same as yours, but that doesn't matter. She sounds like someone who would probably be fun to know and definitely someone who you want to read their next book. less
