review 1: For a young adult, I can see how this would be an enjoyable book. When you don't really think about all the weird loopholes and things that don't make sense, it's a good book. I would not say it has much depth, however. It was a fun and easy read, but it does not stand out to me in any way as a book I would want to recommend to my children or students. I liked the morals that the characters had. Callie put her family first, which is a great idea to share with kids. It had a good enough plot, with okay development. The dialogues were what got to me. At times they seemed much to cliche or over dramatic and forced. In all, I didn't not enjoy this book. It was easy to read for me and I enjoyed a few parts of it, but I probably would not recommend it unless a person had particul... morear interests.
review 2: So I've read many dystopian society books and usually they're very similar but this one was different. The "elders" in this story are able to rent the bodies of younger people to live as of they were young again. It's actually quite sickening. However, not all elders agree with this because their grandchildren have not come back. This causes the main character, a girl fighting to support her little brother, to go on the ride of her life. I actually quite enjoyed this book it had a really interesting plot twist and the sequel included a plot twist of an even larger size. For once a dystopian story with confident main characters and a unique situation. less
