review 1: Girl goes home after failure, runs into old love, disgrace etc. but boy is this one different. Yes there are comeuppances and perhaps some predictability but there it ends. This writer is so good, there is nothing silly or undeserved in the main character. This book is going to be a favorite for non-literary, very entertaining, reading. Can hardly wait to read the next one to see how this author makes the familiar really fresh.

... morer all of the characters but the main, so really if they all were in some horrible accident on the last page I couldn't care less, if anything I would be excited that something I didn't expect happened. I thought the cooking in the prison was a unique angle, that the author should have taken further, but didn't, it was only used to make what you know is going to happen, happen. less
