review 1: With a well-crafted protagonist who is easy to relate to, a flawed but likeable leading man and a well-defined supporting cast, the characters in More Like Her make this an enjoyable read. The twist happens about mid-point in the book, and Pamer does a great job showing how it changes everyone's perspective on life and affects their next steps. Kind of miss those characters, actually...would totally read more about them.
review 2: For me, the most number one most crucial element in chic lit (which is how I would categorize this book) is it's humor. I can't be overdone or forced. The second element is that the mc is not overly whiny or annoying. And the third, the banter (which brings me back to the first) between the characters is realistic and fun.I found
... morenone to be the case here... did not finish. (As an a side: I think this story/subject matter was going to take a turn for the tragic and serious and had I read on, I may have liked and categorized this story differently. I just didn't find the characters engaging enough to continue.) less

Compelling story about facades and how people are not always what they seem.

Meh. Main characters are a little to weak, whiny and insecure for my taste.

I loved this book. I wish it had been longer, I was dad when I finished it!
