review 1: I won this book in a Goodreads giveaway. Generally, I wouldn't pick up a book with a title like this from the library, because well... We're all guilty of judging a book by its cover, but it was very good. The plot was well developed, and had multiple twists. I enjoyed it, though I feel like the plot had enough potential to be extended into a sequel. Her style of writing reminds me of Sara Shepard, who is definitely one of my favorite authors!
review 2: If possible, I would give this book 3.5 stars, but definitely not 4. The story is good and moves along quite well, although it seems a bit convoluted-kind of a YA Dan Brown novel. It seems a bit far fetched to think that high school students, even upper class ones, could get involved in something so nefario... moreus. I am willing to suspend reality when reading fiction, but this story went a bit far for me. I did feel a connection with Sadie, Jeremy, and Jessica, but the others seem to be caricatures rather than fully fleshed out characters. less
