review 1: I have been thinking about what to say for a few days. It was fun, and an easy read but I did find the ending a little abrupt and slightly unconvincing. The characters were amusing, and for once the female main character did not need much help extracting herself from her predicament. It would be nice to learn why Lord Fool is known as Lord Fool but he was entertaining enough and the villain, of course, got his comeuppence in an amusing way.I would have liked more, the story was very short and I think more could have been done to fill out the characters and the intrigue and this would make it more enjoyable. There was the essence of good characters but in such a short story simply the essence.Overall I would give this 2.75 as the abruptness and slightly confused of the endi... moreng and the shortness of the story was a little disappointing. There were a few terms which didn't seem to fit the time period, "such as honey" and I am not convinced any dwellers in London, or its environs would refer to it as "Londontown". However that said I noticed the author has a copy with a new ending which I have now downloaded and will read and it was an entertaining couple of hours and I would consider other stories, with a little more substance by this author and will check out her longer novels.
review 2: The book is missing a middle, clarity, a love story and a setting structure to care the short story. The premise is cool. Yet; I still don't know why he is called Lord Fool, by her or by himself or why she refers to herself as Lady Fool only at one point, nor do u know what's going on with the prince, why the step father is evil. And if one does happen to piece it together one does not feel the emotion. The story needs to fleshed out. It needs to have a point when she falls in love. I get him falling in love but not her. less

Silly, unrealistic short story with a tiny bit of wit. Redeeming qualities: clean ans a quick read.

Not ad but much more plot than character development, which is not my preference.
