review 1: When I first got this, I was a bit hesitant to read it because of its less than impressive and uninspiring reviews but I figured, to each his own right? I was not actually jumping up and down after reading this but I liked the almost hypnotic vibe of the story’s narrative. It’s basically about these two young men finding their place in the world – or you could say, two young guys just going with the flow. That isn’t exactly an appealing summary right? Trust me though, it’s bearable and there’s some sort of vulnerability about the two MCs that no one cannot resists. The main thing going against it is the lack of conflict heavy enough to produce a more believable story. But hey, life is going to be like this for some folks right? Fiction or not.Rating: 3 out of 5 ... morestars
review 2: After reading so many books about cops, rent boys, and some filthy angsty erotica it's just so nice to take it back to the basics. I was wary of reading this book because so many were unimpressed but I'm so glad I did.Yes, the pace was very steady but most of the time that's life. A steady pace doesn't mean boring, this book proved it can be cozy, warm and erotic. The conflicts were resolved fairly and reasonably without theatrics. All in all this was a very well written love story. less

No real drama, angst, or conflict in this story. Just a straightforward and sweet little romance.
