review 1: In Mob Rules, Louis Ferrante teaches fundamental leadership and business lessons in light of the undercover operations of organized crime. The lessons themselves are very useful, though many can be found in generic leadership/business books. The book delivers on it's promise by building every lesson around a unique story or example from the ever-reaching world of organized crime. I personally have very little interest in the Mafia or organized crime (hence my 2-star rating), however, those who are interested in such things will find the book very insightful and highly readable.
review 2: Mob Rules is a really interesting book for anyone who has an interest is business, or whose attention is well held by business books. The author, Louis Ferrante, is a former me
... morember of the Mafia. After serving jail time, he made the transistion into the world of "honest business" and quickly learned that the "honest world" is just as dishonest as the "Mob world" in its own way. Louis Ferrante outlines how the things he learned in the mafia helped him, and can help people, in business. I didn't feel like there was any new information about the business world, or anything that most people don't already know, but the stories and examples are really interesting because they come from a world that we usually don't hear about at all, let alone hear about the business pratices of. less

Not very deep. But witty and concise. A quick summary of common (business and corporate) sense.

Would Donald Trump read this? Rather preachy, but great research!
