review 1: Many others have commented how there is no development in Rose's character. I disagree. I know firsthand how horrible it is to lose a parent, and I know how angry person can get and how isolated they can feel with that type of loss. If depression or anger set in, it is really easy to push away those that are closest to you. I am glad that her brother Peter kept trying to help her. I look forward to some growth in Rose's character in the next book.

... moreth all the characters, I can even relate to some. It has a brilliant story line and I am extremely glad that I read this, I would recommend it to any other teenagers who are into realistic, teenage problems which may contain the gripping subject of love or romance but also drama. less
