review 1: From the first book to this one, Rose really matures in this series. She finds her niche, puts on her big-girl panties, and grows up. She understands that she must own up to every single repercussion that backfires from her attempts to make things better, and learns to be herself in a place where, well, being yourself isn't all that great. Though she makes some seriously screwed decisions in Confessions of an Almost-Girlfriend, as she did in Confessions of an Angry Girl, I'm really interested to see how the story will turn out in book #3.
review 2: 100 freaking stars. I definitely prefer this than the first book. 1. Because Rose 2.0 is now improved and doesnt make me cringe all the time, and 2. because theres definitely alot more story development during the bo
... moreok. It was amazing, is all I can say. Its very different from the first book in a way and as it began with a freshman in a sweater, Rose has now found her own style and is totally rocking it while discovering what she finally wants to do with her life. In this book though, all the characters have changed personalities. Tracy, has finally acted like a best friend to Rose (thank god) while Robert has turned into a complete jerk. There's alot going on in this book, with the memorial website to Peters drug problem. Not to mention the complicated relationship between Jamie and Rose. I loved Angelo though, he was one of the only sources of humour in this book and I found it up-lifting. GAH THERES JUST TOO MUCH TO SAY ABOUT THIS BOOK. I really loved it. Cannot wait for the third book. less
