review 1: i am glad that this book had Rush's pov but the closer i got to the end of the book, the more Trinity was beginning to get on my nerves. she could not seem to make a decision about anything and she did not have faith in Rush and his love for her. what happened in El Paso was her fault due to her stupidity. i am glad that situation worked out but she just kept pushing Rush away instead of listening to him. i did like how Rush switched things around in the prenup on his grandfather. the ending seemed kind of rushed but it did not leave me hanging which is good
review 2: 3.5 Stars. I liked it. It took a bit to get going, and for the majority of the story I wanted to slap (or punch) Trinity repeatedly, but it came through in the end to wind down to a good story. Tr... moreinity had major daddy-issues and the nasty habit of assuming, and always in the worst way, but never confronting. Very cliche. She basically was a mess through the entire story and at times it was getting hard to sympathize even given what she'd been through. Rush was a pillar of patience and maybe a teensy-bit patsy. I don't think a man would or could endure Trinity's constant doubt and disappearing acts, especially given the situation. Seriously high maintenance. So that was a bit hard to swallow, but Potter made it all work out in the end. Once the story got going it was very interesting and had a nice level of intensity. When I finished the epilogue, I didn't experience the deep, contented sigh of a book's completion or feel the need to search if there was going to be another in the series, but I wasn't disappointed either. Better than average read, and I am still on the fence as far as recommending, so this will have to be on you to choose. less
