review 1: Read this book because it was going cheap in the local charity shop and i needed something to read for a long train journey. Hm its easy to say i was really disappointed, it seemed to suggest that affairs will happen in high business places and just have to accept it. I did not like the writing style the use of quotation marks annoyed me but thats my OCD kicking in really. Let down by the book but it was better than staring out a train window for 3-4 hours.
review 2: on page 270. Why am I reading this book? Because I decided to buy a book based on the fact that I picked it up. I can't say it's horrible but I'm certainly not inclined to give it 5 stars! ... morebe a book I would've been much happier had I borrowed it from the library as at least I would not have spent money on it. The book may end up at the library yet. After completing the book my mind has not changed: I would've been happier not having spent the money on this book. It wasn't awful but it certainly was not memorable or one that I'd proudly display on my bookshelf and suggest to other's that they read it. Similar to most Hollywood movies this was predictable, lacking in depth and forgettable. less

Doomed lovers. Somewhat repetitive. Too much angst. Still, well written; author has potential.

Fun and forgettable. A good reminder why office affairs are fraught with difficulties.

Fast paced read, genuinely felt for character despite situation being self inflicted.
