review 1: I've been reading through the Texas Ranger Justice series this week. Threat of Exposure is another very good book. This is the story of the female ranger of the group, Gisella Henandez. She is partnered with DEA agent Brock Martin. Things get very interesting as they work on the drug related crimes connected with the murder of her boss from the first book in the series. I've enjoyed reading the books all at once.
review 2: I love a good suspense book that has you guessing who the bad guys are all the way to the end. The Threat of Exposure is about a female Texas Ranger, Gisella, and her new temporary DEA partner Brock. Somebody killed Gisella's captain and she is determined to find out who. She is pretty sure it has to do with a gang that is smuggling drugs
... moreacross the border and teams up with Brock to go to the location where she believes the illegals are getting across. All they have to go off of is a black book with a bunch of codes and a map that doesn't make sense. Brock is hesitant to be partnered with a female partner, especially when he finds himself attracted to her. Danger is all around them and they seem to have a target on their backs! This was an action packed suspense that kept me guessing all the way to the end who the bad guys were. Lynette did a great job in keeping you on your toes guessing. The characters were all well-developed and I felt myself worrying over them being hurt just like they were. Gisella is a confident, strong and Godly woman and isn't intimidated by the opinions she hears about her profession. I always love to read about a strong yet sweet woman. Brock is also wonderful! He is rugged, which is a plus, confident but stubborn and I just adored his character. They both have issues to deal with but the more this story develops the more they lean on to God to help them make the right choices.I thought the story line was pretty unique and the suspense was great. The romance was also very sweet and I just loved the way it developed, it was clean of course which makes it even better. The spiritual threads were great; they were mild yet thought provoking. I highly recommend Threat of Exposure by Lynette Eason for all those that love Christian Suspense romance.I received a copy of this book to read and review from the author. My review is not biased by the fact that I was given this book. I HONESTLY read and review any book whether bought or given to me. If I did not like the book I would definitely not give a rave review or recommend it. less

A little cheesy in some spots, very predictable, but a good read.
