review 1: DREAMS OF LILACS by Lynn Kurland is an interesting Romance. #16 in the "de Piaget Family" series, but can be read as a stand alone. The saga continues to France. Isabelle de Piaget, is escaping her overbearing, overprotective family only to be shipwrecked off the coast of France and rescued by Gervase de Seger, a brooding Lord. Together they find passion, buried secrets, and love. From the French court to blossoming romance, their circumstances are perilous to say the least, especially in the area of the heart. An interesting tale of buried secrets, with a bit of mystery and a sweet romance. An enjoyable read! review 2: First o... moreff - the title doesn't make any sense. There was no reference to lilacs anywhere in the book. There, just had to get that out.Secondly, maybe I am forgetting this, but I didn't realize Miles and Isabelle were twins. I thought only the two younger boys were twins... But it has been a while since I've read the other books, so I could just be confused.Thirdly, I liked it. It was definitely a better story than the recent Alexander sisters ones, that's for sure. less
