review 1: Angelo van Zaal is used to having his way with every aspect of his life, when his half-brother and his wife die in an accident it leaves his very niece Mariska in his care. Flora is stunned to learn of the death of her sister, although they were not close she talked to her on a weekly basis. Her only priority now is to adopt Mariska as her own, but the obstinate Angelo plans to do the same thing. Flora is not sure why Angelo's dislike for her is so strong, after all she is a self-sufficent woman who wants nothing from him, but his gruff demeanor towards her still does not stop the attraction he feels when by her side.One moment of passion has Angelo forever in Flora's life and he wants her living in his house as his lover. Flora has no intention of bieng a live in love... morer to a man who is unwilling to commit to only her and Angelo is fuming at bieng told no.I enjoyed this one a lot, don't know if I just happen to be in the right mood or what. Flora has Angelo's head spinning, he doesn't know what to do about her and the few facts he had on her are not adding up by the woman whose soft heart is nowhere near the callous women he was reported she is. I liked that Flora sticks by her guns when it comes to what she wants, even in her weakest moment she still stays by her principles.
review 2: Lynne Graham's Presents books are auto buy for me but I have to say that the last few books weren't too good- they all lack emotions and drama that her other books had. The plot wasn't very interesting and I just couldn't get into the relationship between the hero and heroine- there were no emotions and it was a boring book.I hope the third book in the series will be better since I already preordered it. less
