Fandom life —
A friend of mine and I went to the movie theater to watch the Dr. Who season premiere tonight. It was a fun outing that had a last minute, “Are you dressing up?” attached to it. We both got excited about that prospect and went as the Doctor (11) and River Song. Driving up and eating Sushi beforehand added to our girl’s night. It was a fun night meeting the new companion, seeing a new spin-off (Class) and getting reacquainted with Peter Capaldi’s doctor (12). It was a better night catching up with a friend and enjoying each others company.
Today’s joy is the joy of shared fandoms.
