review 1: Meh. I quite enjoyed the first half but my patience soon wore thin - Dani and Decker were both fairly unremarkable. It's interesting that the words 'solemn' and 'serious' were frequently used to describe Decker, as there wasn't a huge amount more to him. Dani was equally lacking in spark and their story wasn't particularly memorable for me. It's probably my own fault for starting with book 11 in a series but this has done little to persuade me to try more.
review 2: I'm a total sucker (::snort::) for a vampire/romance book. Yes, there is a definite formula to her books (at least in the Argeneau series) but I love them. I love the fact that all of the characters end up happy (all of the ones that I've read anyway), I love that there is a sexy element to the bo... moreoks and they are fun! They are not the most intellectual books that I've ever read but I enjoy them. less
