review 1: I'm a little disappointed. And confused. Im disappointed by the plot of this one and confused as to how I could feel so differently about consecutive books in a series. I found the way Matt acted and his choices deplorable. I could not believe that he would behave and think and manipulate the way he did. I could have handled that. Hannah made it worse. She would try to stand up for herself or what she knew was right and they'd end up having sex. I'm sorry - that's not sending the message that what he did was actually wrong. And how she got to that conclusion at the end of the book? I lose respect for the characters (especially the women) if they don't have or eventually have a backbone. Especially when their inner monologue swears they're angry or hurt or they know they've... more been wronged. I don't know what else to pinpoint as to where it went wrong for me but that's what I can see right now.
review 2: When he wrote what he thought was notes about his intoxicating relationship with Hannah Catalano, Matt Sky never realized what he had done. It was supposed to never be shared with anyone or so he kept telling himself but if that were the case why was it so easily stolen and published, fate or destiny?Matt above all else wanted to write and never be known and when his privacy was breached he took the extreme measure of faking his own demise. But having to be away from his lover, Hannah was proving too much and the chase to find who hacked into his account and released his most intimate sexual encounters had to be found. Even when Matt knows who did the damage his next steps are confusing and very contradictory to what he says he wants, anonymity. When reunited, Matt and Hannah deal with intrusive family, hiding in plain sight, and dealing with the person behind the mystery. Matt swears he knows nothing but Hannah is beginning to realize he may be all smoke while holding a mirror. There are secret meetings and too many strange calls to not have Hannah question what is really going on here and what part am I playing lover or fool. While the problems surround them Matt still says she first priority is Hannah but she wonders if it is not something much more sinister less
