review 1: Meggy was adopted and recently she received a letter from her birth mother saying who she was and where she came from. This prompts Meggy to look up her birth family, only to discovery they are very very rich. When the family realized who Meggy is, they start to investigate. Needless to say, Meggy falls in love with Trevor, Who is supposedly a writer but actually a family member. The book started ok but just became boring in a way later on. In my opinion, it was a bit over the top and a little too expected. Not too bad a read though ... But nothign to write home about.
review 2: It's a refreshing read, yes it's a dominant billionaire, but he's met his match with the little pit bull of a chef. It's a quick read that possibly would have benefitted from some more
... more depth, for example, we never actually find out what the letter says, and it would have been interesting to have read of Trevor's conversations in the diner, rather than have them mentioned in passing. I always find it a but twee when characters fall madly in love in such a ridiculously short time frame, but accept that was part of the story. It was an enjoyable and humorous read. less
