review 1: Nice easy romantic read.Kelly McMaster's only one night stand resulted in little TJ, although she tried her best to find Trey, TJ's father with no last name she'd very little to go on. Almost two years later and totally out of the blue they meet again, realising he has a son Trey is furious at first that he's not been told but then as it dawns on him that there was truly nothing else Kelly could have done to find him. He wants TJ in his life, he wants to be a father but not only that he wants Kelly as well. This is a nice sweet story with likeable characters, Trey's family the Burstyn's are a close family who look after their own, will they accept Kelly and TJ?This is a nice little read, personally I would have liked more, Kelly's parents for example, more about her life wi... moreth TJ.
review 2: Christmas Showdown is a nice story with wonderful characters. The one thing that lowered my appreciation of it was the graphic nature of the romantic scenes. What makes any kind of erotica successful is the sensitivity of the romantic moments between the characters. In this story, the emotion begins building into something beautiful between Kelly and Trey only to be let down by graphic language that brings the love act down to a base and unappealing level, especially when a simple change of words could build the reader up, and bring them over to share the experience with the two lovers. There's no need for an f--bomb when two people are falling deeply in love and are planning on building a lasting and caring relationship. So five stars for the story - three stars for the writing. less

Very nice short story. Loved Trey. TJ was a cute kid but I'm glad I don't have to run after him.
