review 1: The characters are growing, the romance is heating up and the Demons are everywhere. Somewhere in the middle of the carefully orchestrated chaos is a story. I got the feeling that the characters were not willing to stay put and the author was playing catch up at points. It is still a good read and one that YA audiences seeking some escapist fun will enjoy. This is not a book to critique. It is a book to enjoy.
review 2: This was a worthy follow-up to Paranormal Public. This series is not over the top "wow factor" for me. However it's definitely a solid story and the fact that I tend to have much lower expectations for books that are primarily for kindle (free-$3.99) probably had an impact on my rating this as a 4 star story. It's not the most origianl story, bu... moret it does have some new spins in an overdone genre which is refreshing. The Museum of Masks is one of these spins that I especially enjoyed in this sequel. I'm excited for the next one. less
