review 1: I think this book was a bit disappointing compared to the others in the series. I was really enjoying this series and after the last book I was looking forward to getting some answers. There was the idea of a battle looming on the horizon, anticipation of fight scenes and drama but it did not deliver. Charlotte spends most of her time avoiding the demons and trying to work out why Keller is avoiding her now that they are in a relationship. Princess Lanca is being crowned after losing her father and most of the story centres around this coronation taking place. Some of the story lines did not make sense to me and it just seemed to go nowhere. I did enjoy the banter between the friends but I wanted more action and the ending was a bit lacklustre for me.
review 2:... more Another great book in the Paranormal Public series. The books are getting more darker as the paranormal world heads towards war but the banter between Sip and Lisabelle lightens the stressful scenes that Charlotte faces throughout the book. The epilogue at the end makes me want to read more and find out what happens and hopefully everything will workout between Keller and Charlotte. Can't wait to read the next book. less
