review 1: What a wonderfully written book. It was recommended by a friend and I'm so glad I went out and bought it straight away. It was difficult to put down but having 2 children wanting my attention it took me a bit longer than I would've liked!! I was so sad when it came to an end - I wanted more!! Really makes you think about how precious your children are and still has you thinking about the characters long after putting it down. Really looking forward to reading another Madeleine Reiss book :) Now onto my next recommendation. Will it be as good?!
review 2: I was completely gripped throughout this book, and just had to know what was coming next... A thrilling, heart-breaking and thought-provoking novel. It took me on a roller coaster of emotions and held me captiva... moreted by the two quite different story lines, running parallel to one another until they eventually collide in the dramatic final chapters. A book of love, loss, fear, grief, humour, friendship... Highly recommended! less
