review 1: Thanks netgalley for a free read in exchange for a review. I did not read the first in this series so that may be why some parts of this novella were confusing. Some fleshing out between Eli and Hannah would have made going to Dante a bit better, and the climax was unfulfilling for me. I know novellas always seem to rate low for me but I was still excited about the chemistry between Dante and Hannah. I wouldn't recommend this book without reading the first book. Overall entertainment was three stars.
review 2: A typical Ellora's Cave romance. Sexy alpha males, hot, good story line. Although I did not read the first in the series, the opening of the book sucked me in and broke my heart a little. The story picked up a a fast read with a good story. I followed... more it very well even though it was a short story in which I had not previously been introduced to the characters int he first book. I really enjoyed this book and will look for more in the series. less
