review 1: This book needed a continuity editor. It bothers me when someone charges their phone, receives messages, still with the charger plugged in, and by the time they go up 2 floors their cell phone has run out of juice again. Or when a cast is put on a leg with disregard of wearing anklelength pants, or the problems in removing them. The cast is above the knee, yet next morning she has bare knees.That aside, the plot is good and the writing is fine. I enjoy others in the series, but would not make a point of recommending it.
review 2: I gave this one 3 stars... Actually it should be 3.5. I did like this book, however, it ended too quickly. Like there's this drawn out suspense regarding Steff & Dr. Dan, and also Mel and Greg. I was even trying to tangle one of th... moreem up in the Frannie & Harry mess. Next thing I know, the book ends and Dr. Dan & Steff's issue is fixed in one page, and there's really no more mention of Mel & Greg except Greg wants to... Ooopsss....No spoiling. Anyway, I hope it carried over into the next book - which I don't have yet. Also, I had the story in this book figured out before it was summed up in the last few pages. less
