review 1: This is my first read from this author and I am intrigued enough to look up some of her other work. The hero's name in this short story is Colt, which is fine, but his brother's names and his brother in laws name was brought up right away as the story started and they each had some dialogue and before I could get a good grasp on the character. It confused me a little as I tried to keep straight who the main character was and then thinking what an odd name his brother's have, Bolt and Cord. Made me giggle a little. I really like Renny's character, she seemed shy and quiet and would of loved to have that explored more. Their intense moment together in the dug out was hot, it just felt like there wasn't enough storyline which I really wanted because Colt seemed like a lo... moret of fun. I would of loved to have Renny confront her assistant and then felt deflated when the author didn't finish Renny's payback at the end. As a reader, I wanted to be a part of it and not in the truck with Bolt and Cord as they were having their own dialogue and talking about what they were hearing back in the dugout. Overall, I liked it, just wanted more
review 2: A pretty good 1/2 hour read about a wife who gets fed up when hubby would rather play baseball with the boys than pick her up from the airport. It all turns out to be a misunderstanding of course, and things gets resolved nicely, with help from some sexing up and a little bondage. Is there anything bondage won't cure? This had a nice little emotional touch. You could feel that Colt really loves his wife. A satisfying freebie from EC :-)Note: no menage, no cheating, no anal. less
