review 1: The first time I saw the cover of A Cowboy's Christmas Promise, I wanted to read the story, because it was just so full of joy, love, and delight! And the story surely delivers what the cover promises! It is a tale of cowboy charm, idyllic Montana living, humor, wonder of the wild, friends, and romance.The dialog is light, fun, and witty. The character's feels like your lifelong friends, the families are tight, pulling together, and devoted.The romance between Hayley and Daniel is beautiful. What a wonder to watch them fall in love, getting to know each other, learning about each other, carrying on over the time through the distance. Even though the story is 'clean', you can feel the passion, attraction between them. There are a number of swoon worthy scenes in the book, t... morehat will stay with you, and make you smile long after. But you also tear up with the deep sorrow of the loss, and of the struggles to move on with life.Daniel's girls are blissfully adorable, and how the little family unit forms, almost instantly, like they were meant to be together, is captivating.The battle with the mother-in-law, Haley's sisters missing, trials with their careers and stress, all bring deeper layers to the story, just making it more enthralling.Truly a charming tale, yes, full of joy and love, life and heart~ Five spoons!
review 2: Thank you Negalley for ARC book for in exchange for honest review.1st- this is the second book in Whisper Creek series but can be a STAND ALONE2nd - title is misleading, can be read anytime. Few scenes took place during the holidays.. Holidays are for wishes to come true. . .3rd- reading the synopsis explains the novel by Maggie McGinnis and Loveswept publisher so I won't repeat that information What I will write is the talented writing, attention grabbing, felt like I personnally new each of the characters, electricity, down to earth and heart felt novel .. . 4th- to be honest. . . I thought this was going to be the same old. . . Can't fall in love, it's wrong but you feel so right blah blah same ole same ole story. I WAS WRONG. I teared up at the wedding vow, and bawled like a mom the way Haley loved the girls unconditionally, don't want to give it away, but my the emotions for everyone involved. I can't find the words to express the talent and flow of this novel that had just the right amount of humor, laughter, love, heart striken, broken, friends, Cowboys, this book is. I did not agree with the MIL, but if those were my only two grandchildren, idk how my heart would be broken and would want them in my life everyday too. Soall I can say is, McGinnis is on my tbr list hank you Netgalley and Loveswept publishing less
