review 1: I picked up this book at a thrift store. I like the take on witches, good and evil. The story of a not-much-loved child trying to grow up in the shadow of her beautiful mom. She grows and finds out that her mother was good and protecting her for her whole life. She faces adversity, comes into her powers and learns a lot about herself and the world. In the end she overcomes everything she faced and good overcomes evil. Well written and an easy read. I really liked it.

Comprato per sfida (non amo romanzi sulle streghe in genere) si è rivelato un ottimo investimento! Lo sfondo storico su cui si sv... moreolge l'intera storia è molto bello ed avvincente, ma soprattutto non scontato! La crescita di Anaid da bambina piccola e bruttina a giovane strega nel pieno dei suoi immensi poteri è graduale e coinvolgente. Finalmente un'eroina nuova, appassionata! Ragazzi, fidatevi, non è possibile non amare questo libro! less
