review 1: Aunque escribo esta reseña después de haberme leído la saga dos veces (la última vez hace unos meses), la historia permanece fresca en mi memoria. Ahora, con tanta distopía, historia post-apocalíptica o YA, apenas encuentras libros que antes reinaban en el género. Con catorce años todo lo que caía en mis manos eran historias de brujas, magos o gente con determinados tipos de poderes. Y eran buenas historias o, al menos, buen material para crear historias.Esta trilogía y, en concreto, su primera parte, me atrapó entre sus redes y qué feliz he sido enredada entre sus hilos. Los personajes son fuertes y, como no ha tenido la necesidad (y aplaudo su decisión) de crear un mundo nuevo, todos los viajes que hace la prota y, en general, toda la descriptiva, es genial.... more Algún día volveré a releerlos todos *^*
review 2: This book was a great little read. I loved the idea of witches and a battle, and that's what got me interested in this in the first place. The only things that I have to say about this book that kept me from loving it, was the fact that Anaíd was so childish half the time, crying, running away from those who were trying to protect her and teach her, at times a little on the weak side when it came to mental terms, and also for sneaking off a lot. She was also horribly clingy to her mother and it came across to me as someone who worshipped her mother.But other than the small character flaws, she was relatable and fun to read. Her adventures were fun to get lost in and in some scenes it made me excited for the suspense to spice up the book. The only thing that threw me off was the random secondary characters that would pop in and out of the book with no sense of direction as to what part they played in the plot. Also, I felt that the book didn't have the best climax and ending. I personally thought it could have gone on for another thirty so pages for the confrontation at the end as well as the ending. But that's my opinion.All in all though, it was a good read. less
