review 1: Boys Don't Cry is a very emotional book filled with moments of sadness and desperation. This book is about the life of 17 year old boy Dante who's waiting for his A-level results. When he hears the knock of the door he expects the postman but instead he finds his X-girlfriend and a baby, his baby. He's asked to look after the baby for a while so she can get something, but little does he know, she wont be returning. I defiantly recommend this book as it makes you think about the consequences of your actions, and I hope you will enjoy it as much as I did.
review 2: Ca faisait bien longtemps que je n'avais pas été touché à ce point par un roman. Boys don't cry est un vrai roman chargé d'émotions. Bien qu'il s'agisse d'une fiction, il est très réaliste auss... morei bien sur le plan des sentiments, des dialogues que dans les faits. Dante n'est préparé ni sur le plan psychologique ni matériel à accueillir un enfant. On découvre au fil des pages comment se construit leur quotidien, leur attachement et leur futur. L'idée de voir un très jeune père célibataire se débattre avec ses nouvelles responsabilités est aussi audacieuse que touchante. less
