review 1: I really enjoyed this book. It was a total counterdiction of the phrase "you can never go home" and yet somehow Virginia finds that home is where she never should have left. Virginia leaves Nagog in search of fame and fortune. Leaving her family her roots and the one man she truly loved. Heather finds Nagog (a very close tightknit community) running away looking for the home she never had. The two befriend eachother and help each other to heal old wounds and trust to let love back into their lives.
review 2: I received an ARC of this book through NetGalley for my honest review. I got caught up in the story right away and although most of the characters are sweet and charming, I really couldn't get into Heather and Tommy as a couple. They really didn't get
... more to be a couple, kind of, until the very end. Maybe if it had happened earlier, I could have fallen in love with them as a couple. This is Marci Nault's debut and though I enjoyed it, I found it somewhat on the long side, being over 400 pages and think had it been 50 -100 pages shorter, it would have been more enjoyable. This is merely my opinion, though. I do foresee this author doing quite well in the future and look forward to other books by Marci Nault. less
