Most töprengek, olvassam-e tovább, hátha jobb dolgok következnek, most, hogy a gonosz meghala.
review 2: Read in Norwegian, but apparently this has been translated so that I can review in English without feeling like a dork. I normally review in the language I've read in. Okay,
... moreso my previous two reviews were in Swedish, but close enough. :) It's a Swedish author after all, although the events take place in Norway.I have been pleasantly surprised by how readable this series is. The language flows well, the characters feel so real and I root for them from the bottom of my heart. The villains are usually taken care of in a most satisfactory manner. I somehow thought this would be more .... trashy. It's not exactly fine literature, but I love it! Three books down now, and I have no intention of taking a break yet. Forty-four books to go until I reach the end of the series, I don't think I'll be going through all of them in one go.In this book the wild-hearted Sol has taken off to visit her step-brother Dag in Copenhagen. Her intention is to look for witches and warlocks. Naturally enough her wild, uncontrolled ways lead her into trouble and she has to flee the country. Sol is shockingly uncontrolled and does exactly what she wants. Her behavior would have been surprising now, but this is the 16th century and her ways raise more than an eyebrow. Sol isn't exactly evil though, and she defends her family by any means available. Sol's a resourceful young woman.Again I was surprised with the ending. I did not see that coming. Must continue with book number four. less
