review 2: I highly recommend this book (and the whole series) to everyone who loves fantasy, romance, mystery, the spiritual and family sagas. ABOUT THE BOOK:Yrja Matiasdatter was young, poor and deformed by illness. People laughed at the g
... moreirl and called her evil names. Yrja carried a heavy weight of sorrow: she was unhappily in love with the rich Tarald, son of Baron Dag Meiden and Liv of the Ice People. But Tarald fancied his cousin Sunniva and because of the evil inheritance a relationship between them could become fatal The series “The Legend of The Ice People” is a gripping chronicle about love and supernatural powers and not least the fight between good and evilMY REVIEW ON THE ENTIRE SERIES “THE LEGEND OF THE ICE PEOPLE”:I can’t describe in words how much this series means to me; it has helped me and still is helping me through dark times. It gives me hope in many directions. I am a romantic dreamer and there is a lot of magical love in The Legend of The Ice People. I especially enjoy the books about the young women who don’t feel beautiful or worthy of love and still find it BIG TIME ;)But it is not just the romantic themes that are important to me in this series, also the history you learn. I have always found history very interesting, but I hated the history books you read in school. Margit Sandemo is sharing historical facts in her books and in this way you get to learn some history while enjoying the fictive stories.I am a huge fan of everything fantasy and magical and Margit has described the magic in these books as something natural and in a way so it actually could be real. I love books like Harry Potter too, but it is so much more obvious that it is fiction as it is so very exaggerated (in the good way), but in The Legend of The Ice People it is more powers of the mind; it is clairvoyance, healing and predictions as well as going back in time in mind – these are topics that could be true. It just feels real while reading it.And then I love that there are so many other stories than the main story about destroying The Evil Tengel, all the personal destinies we get to hear about – and their strong family bound.Margit Sandemo is my absolute top favourite author and The Legend of The Ice People is simply just amazing! less

Helt okej del 4. Nu blir det del 5 som verkar minst lika spännande.
