review 1: Honestly.... I think I may have set myself up for a let down. Ever since I've read the book MoonGazer by the same author, I've expected all the books from said author to be some of the best. All things considered, if the romance aspect was just left out, along with drug addiction, this may have been pretty kick-ass. But, when two people can't decide weather or not to pork each other, one second the guy is calling the girl a bitch, the next second he would go to the ends of the world for her, it leaves you feeling confused and frustrated.The actually zombie scenes were awesome, and I'm not a big fan of reading horror, more of a fan of horror movies. But every time something gruesome and awesome happens, you have a back and forth relationship ruining it.
review 2:... more> First thing to say: I don't think the cover matches the guys personality at all. Although I don't have anything bad against Chase character, it was just a little off. I was really a kind of reader who looks at the cover before reading it. I'm not a reader who judge the book by its cover, but I'm a kind of reader who looks at the cover to feel how characters would be. When I looked at the cover, as was expecting him to be a kind of ruthless type of guy. But I'm totally wrong. Just look at the guy's stunt, he kinda look like a ruthless kind of guy right? Anyway. Never mind. I think I just love the cover and that's it.For the story, I was really glad I was able to finish it. I was a little bit bored, cause I think the story was just a short typical story. I just led you to only one path of the story. I was really freaking out when I was almost done with it and nothing good happens. The action scenes are short. No heart skipping scenes, it was just all plain for me. Anyway, I still think the story deserves a 3 star. I may not like it that much but I think it was over all a fair good story. less
