review 1: I agree with another reviewer's comment that the book loses its zest when the two protagonists finally meet. The near-meetings were entertaining, but by the time the two characters sync up, life has moved on for both of them. Are they really the same people that they were ten years ago when their friends declared that they were soulmates? Haven't they moved on, one of them even married with a child, to a point where getting involved with one another would have disastrous consequences? I lost interest in the book at this point and never finished reading it.

Mas também fala de amizade e de... more erros. Tess é uma rapariga louca por vintage e que acredita no verdadeiro amor. George é um rapaz que adora música. Eles são almas gémeas. Mas, só dez anos depois, é que o vão perceber. Pois, é verdade. Este livro abrange um espaço de tempo de 10 anos. E nesse espaço de tempo passamos a conhecer muito bem a Tess e o George como um individual, mas não como um todo. E isso é um ponto negativo.Quando chegamos ao final do livro e eles, finalmente, ficam juntos parece que passou uma eternidade e o livro acaba. Todo o livro foi uma preparação para o final feliz e eu penso que a escritora pecou nisso. Toda a gente sabia que eles iam ficar juntos então porquê tanta demora? Tantos obstáculos?A escrita da autora é leve e este é um livro que não conseguimos parar de ler mas, mesmo assim, deixa um sabor amargo na boca. less
