review 1: What a lovely book. It shed a light on a personality that I heard a lot about but didn't know much about besides liberation of South America. In fact he appeared to be an amazing personality....capable of twisting destiny.... A true inspiration on how to overcome obstacles and turn a hopeless situation into an superb victory. Though the end was not anticipated and history proved to be a master at changing direction.....
review 2: Seems to be a very interesting guy,that I have heard of often, but had known nothing about. Tells about him from before birth to after death.Also you will learn some South American history as well. A bit confusing for me as I knew nothing of this history and just getting the names and places was a chore for me. Hence the length of time... more to read, but still interesting.This was a Goodreads Giveaway win for me. less
