review 1: I must say I really enjoyed this book and can't wait for the second one. I'm not really into love triangles, but this book just screamed for me to read it. It was hard to decide who I liked more, Jared, the business man with a kinky side or Ollie, the rock star with a sweet side and while reading this I found myself switching teams quite a couple times. The main character, Layla made me wish I could reach into the book and slap her a couple of times, the answer to who she should end up with was right in front of her face and she was too wishy washy to the point that it drove me nuts. This book tugged at my heart strings and made me cry, laugh and got me a little frustrated. But in the end she choose the perfect one and in the next book I hope she's still with him, cause HE... more IS her happy ever after
review 2: No, just no. I usually don't even put time into books like this with stupid love triangles, They piss me off and this book is defiantly not an exception. I'm giving this a book a 2 because I felt that Layla and Jared's "love" never really existed, I had he feeling throughout the whole book that they where confusing lust with love and it just irked me how I never got to see a real moment with them as a couple, they always fought then had sex it just didn't feel right or real it just felt wrong. To be honest I was and still am team Ollie he just seamed so perfect and had a real connection with Layla but you wouldn't know that because they don't spend much time together so you don't really get to see them bond. I don't even know where to start with Layla, really girl could you possibly keep it in your pants for five freaking seconds. Maybe if I would have been able to make a deeper connection to her I would hate her so freaking much but this chick infuriates me, yes I like the way she stands up for herself but everything else about her I hate, she is way to dramatic and emotional. something found funny while reading this book was how she tried to get Jared to be more of a friend so they could have a better relationship, but in reality she was just looking for what she had with Ollie, with Jared. Ok I'm done, sorry if this makes absolutely no sense to you or if it didn't help at all. less
