review 1: Since I don't normally write reviews unless I have something specific to say, here's the break down of how I rate my books...1 star... This book was bad, so bad I may have given up and skipped to the end. I will avoid this author like the plague in the future.2 stars... This book was not very good, and I won't be reading any more from the author.3 stars... This book was ok, but I won't go out of my way to read more, But if I find another book by the author for under a dollar I'd pick it up.4 stars... I really enjoyed this book and will definitely be on the look out to pick up more from the series/author.5 stars... I loved this book! It had earned a permanent home in my collection and I'll be picking up the rest of the series and other books from the author ... moreASAP.
review 2: I received this book in exchange for an honest review from the “Lovers of Paranormal” Group on Goodreads.comI enjoyed the way this story was told in first person, I felt like Pandora was speaking directly to me. This is a paranormal story wrapped in a mystery. I enjoyed Pandora's character, she is part demon but she shows her humanity when necessary. The more I got involved in the story the more questions I had. I am not sure how I feel about Luc, I like him, I don't like him, I'm still undecided. He seems to sincerely care for Pandora but there is still something about him that leaves me questioning his true loyalty. The thing that intrigued me the most is Billy, the Priest. There has to be something more to him and I hope to find out more about that in the next book. This story was intense at times and pushed me forward to each next chapter. I am ready to jump right into the next book! less
