review 1: The third book in this series. I love the kind it always turnes around. It is a modern fairy for adults. The red and her Wolf, the big Bad one who ate her gran. So tells the story but was it the truth? The red riding hood, Violet, was banned on earth for many centuries. While the big Bad Wolf still lives in the kingdom. In this book we meet again with the mad Hatter and get to know Jinni (who will take the part in the forth book).The red has a dark side in her. She is not the sweet little girl but has strong power and kills every Wolf she see, in case it is the big bad .After a long time she had to return to the kingdom but will she gets her revenge? She believed that her history, everything she knew, was true. But as we know, nothing seems as it is. So every fairytale isn... more't what we try to believe when we were little.
review 2: 5 starsIn the third installment of the Kingdom series, the big bad wolf and little red riding hood appear. Yes the Big Bad Wolf is actually Little Red Riding Hoods mate, but like any good mate story there are always catches into how they fell in love. You see Violet (little red) is the heartsong, a powerful being who holds with in her the black magic of the ten highest ranking fairies of kingdom. This doesn’t mean she bad, it just means that her body is a vessel. When she was young (in kingdom that is) the fairy who was supposed to be protecting her was killed by the big bad wolf (Ewan), but what isn’t told is that he was ordered to kill the Heartsong by the evil fairy and in the end didn’t, he protected her. For centuries she was hidden away on Earth after the incident and festered thinking that Ewan was a horrible murderer and that she would exact revenge on him and the evil fairy. Unfortunately he true calling had come and she was stuck with Ewan protecting her on her journey. While Violet fall in love with Ewan? Who will she meet along the way on her journey to help guide her way? Will she defeat the Evil Fairy? Read it! I love this series! I am hooked! I love Danika, the fairy godmother of the Bad five. She is a hoot! I really love the take on little red riding hoods true calling and fate. I am looking forward to the next book in the series. My favorite scene would have to have been when they were in were in the evil witches forest and Ewan figured out what the candy branch really was!Definitely 18+ do to how the series go with sexual innuendo and nudity lol less
