review 1: The story itself wasn't so bad. But come ooooon!!! Werewolves??? Really???? Out of nowhere... No allusions, just jumping in the middle. I've laughed so hard, I had to put down the book!!! Certainly it wasn't a cliche paranormal book, which is a good point, but it made me wait the whole time for a vampire who will spring out of the bushes. So I hesitated between 2 and 3 stars, but on the whole it wasn't unreadable, that's why I gave it a 3.
review 2: I enjoyed the story. The connection between Emmerson and Vince was believable and beautiful. I even didn't have a problem with the werewolf twist, despite not being the biggest fan of the paranormal. However, Alicia didn't quite fit in for me. Her relationship with the two men seemed forced.Overall though, I would... more recommend this quick read, even to those who aren't really into the paranormal. less
