review 1: I didn't know how to rate this book. It's fluff, and mildly entertaining and good for getting your mind off of your problems. Not a great book but it has it's purpose. And I really wound up admiring Marie Osmond and her family. She has a positive attitude and a deep love for her family. She has good values in a business that is basically devoid of them. I kept wondering how her parents managed to raise kids who know right from wrong when they lived in an immoral environment. Yet they did. And i particularly respect her for not bashing her parents. She truly honors them and that is so refreshing to read. She seems to understand that belittling them would only be belittling herself.
review 2: This was really easy to read. I found her very likable and r
... moreeal. She knows people who are famous but her interactions were those that all of us can have. I found it very interesting to hear about her thoughts at different times in her life and how she let those experiences shape who she became. It was a good example of how to use all experiences, good and bad, to make us stronger. She doesn't have a poor me attitude and doesn't complain about all the bad stuff that happened to her. She cites good experiences too. I think it's worth reading at least once. I got it for my birthday if you want to borrow it. :) less
