– My thoughts –

Sophia is a science geek, she is not really part of the everyday life, she likes to dive into herself, she keeps to herself. Joshua is the complete opposite of her. He is the center of the attention with a lot of friends, and sometimes he lives in a fantasy world. Then they find each other and you got the recipe for a cute and sweet story.
Both of the characters have an individual, strong and unique personality. I liked how they formed each other, especially the transformation that Sophia goes through. She starts to be more open and friendly, she develops a lot during the story.

I adored this book but it didn’t become one of my favorite’s because Joshua kind of pushed into the background. I think he would have deserved more attention, he is a phenomenal character. Its beautiful how he sees Sophia. And yes on some occasions Sophia’ demeanor just pissed me off. In the beginning I couldn’t understand her decisions but as I got to know her I started to like her.
I thought it’s going to focus more on magic tricks and such but it’s not so i was a bit disappointed.

The writing style is beautiful and spectacular, the author created something unique. Naturally it has a happily ever after ending so no worry.

– My favorite quotes from the book –

“If you want something badly enough, it’s worth letting all the other stuff go.”

“Maybe who you are is perfect, and everyone else just needs better glasses.”

“Sometimes I wish I were a character in a movie.”

“Maybe I’m a much better actor than I’ve been giving myself credit for.”
