review 1: An excellent autobiography about a rebellious teenager who suffered severe losses in his early years, yet turned his life around to become a super-fit and very skilled SAS trooper in the Australian Army. The book gives much insight into army training and to many perilous and brave battles against the Taliban in Afghanistan. Mark Donaldson was awarded a VC for an act of bravery in rescuing an injured Afghan interpreter in the face of high personal peril.
